Famous mathematicians due in Ankara

World-famous mathematics genio will come to Ankara to attend a joint conference of Turkey's Hacettepe University and U.S. Louisiana University.

160 mathematicians from 30 countries are set to share their recent scientific works with Turkish researchers at the conference between August 18th and 22nd, 2008.

In an exclusive interview with the A.A. correspondent, Hacettepe University Mathematics Department Lecturer Prof. Adnan Tercan said on Thursday that the conference aimed to support regeneration of works on mathematics, and the conference would also provide an opportunity for the implementation of international joint research works.
